Wildlife of the stream

- did you know that on the bottom of the fast stream a lot of little animals hide..?
- most of them are invertebrates, different worms, a few species of snails, different shrimps and a variety of insect larvae live on the stream bed, under the stones;
- their bodies are generally flat and have hooks and other attaching organs to withstand the current;
- they feed on animal and plant remains or algae, but some of them are predators, too.
