Guardian`s Spring (Őrkút)

We climb the steep slope of Hind Tomot. Here the landscape is dominated by Mat Grass. Some other species hiding in the grassland are: Dwarf Gentian, Carpathian Plantain, Lignonberry, Transylvanian Violet, Catsfoot, Alpine Fleabane. Between Hind Tomot and Szellő, not far from the antenna there is a spring named Guardian`s Spring. This area was a frontier many times during history. At this point we turn West (left) and leave the main ridge. As we go downhill we can observe beautiful old Sycamore Maple tree.
